Healthy Fruit and Vegetable Juice Recipes

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Juice recipes are often as complex or simple as you would like them. Lots of people use carrots, apples, celery, tomatoes and oranges most regularly. 1 orange, 1 apple, 4 carrots, 1 tomato and 2 celery stalks make around 15-20 oz of fresh juice.

To tell the truth, you do not actually need recipes to get started with juicing. You could (and should) try out the vegetables and fruits you know that you like. It’s also advisable to try various quantities and combinations, then you will find yourself with a recipe that is unique every time. Even So, if you genuinely wish to do things ‘correctly’ and create some tasty and healthy fruit and vegetable juice recipes, here are a few recipes that will help:

Basic juice – This juice recipe is straightforward yet full of healthy benefits. Prepare equal portions of cucumber, celery and carrots, and add some parsley and a little piece of ginger. Add in a citrus fruit or half an apple and possibly some wheat grass. This juice recipe can be an acquired taste, particularly if you are not acquainted with a strong vegetal flavor. Consider including more citrus fruit to balance out the taste.

Apple–Ginger-Pineapple – Slice and core apples, cube some pineapple flesh, and include a small segment of fresh ginger root. Juice the ginger and apple first and then follow with the pineapple.

Calcium juice recipeJuice together half a cup of broccoli heads with 3 mid-sized carrots, a green apple, a few sprigs of parsley and a quarter of a lemon.

Colon-cleanse juice – Here’s a great recipe to help cleanse the colon. Combine together 1 green apple with 1 mid-sized carrot, 5 cucumber slices, 1 celery stalk, 1 teaspoon of honey, and also some lemon juice. Combine these with ice-cold water and puree in a blender. This juice should really be drank right away, because it will lose some of its nutrition if it becomes oxidized.
